CHURCH TRIBUTE NIGHT

I received the following message Saturday, 28 July, 2001 about a Church tribute night:
Hi there, I'm writing to inform you (so that you may make this info available to other church fans) that there will be a 'Church tribute night' on at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney on the 13th of September. Local Sydney bands will be playing Church songs old and new to pay homage to a Sydney band that has influenced us all in some way.

For more info contact: John at z2209239@student.unsw.edu.au

Cheers, John James.

MOST RECENT AENT NEWS

According to a post on a message board dated 5/15/01 by Cooking Vinyl themselves, "After Everything, Now This" (the upcoming Church album) will not be released until the last week of January in 2002. This will be followed by a tour of Europe (including Spain & Italy possibly) in February, the USA in March, and Australia in April. According to Cooking Vinyl, the delay in the release of AENT will allow for better marketing support and a longer tour. Stay tuned, I'll keep you posted as information surfaces.

AENT SONG RELEASED AND MORE!!!

It appears we still don't have a definite release date for "After Everything, Now This" yet or a definite tour schedule set, but I will keep you all informed. To keep you tided over, you can download and listen to one of the album's tracks "Radiance" through Napster. Also at the One Day site you can listen to a track Steve Kilbey recorded with Sam Therapy and King Dice in Stockholm, it is in the 'Demos' section (8 minutes/30 seconds). Bengt Kirschon (who recorded that song with Steve) informed me of this, thank you Bengt. Well, that is all for now, stay tuned!

MISUNDERSTANDING

It has been brought to my attention that Telegraph company will no longer be releasing After Everything. They are still signed to Thirsty Ear, there was just a misunderstanding that has now been settled between the two companies. Thirsty Ear has them signed for three more albums after this one.

NEW ALBUM NAMED, SCHEDULED, AND MORE!

I just received an e-mail today (1/19/01) from Jerod at Telegraph, it was the official press release for the next Church album. The title will be "After Everything" and it will be released April 24, 2001 on the Telegraph Company. In this press release three new songs were brought to my attention. They will be "Radiance", "The Cross", and "Invisible"; this must be on top of the others we are aware of (if they are still under the same names themselves). You can read the press release HERE on this site.

TWO NEW SONGS

I am aware of two songs possibly present on the next Church release due out in 2001. Marty spoke of a "Chromium Plating" in a Talk City interview on 4/14/00. Also in many of the 1999 Church concerts, a song possibly titled "After Everything" was performed. Both of these may or may not be present in the next Church album, but I thought I'd report it anyways.

NEW CHURCH ALBUM'S LATEST NEWS

The most recent news about the album I have come across is that it is due out sometime in 2001 and you can get a snipet of one of the cuts from that album on Steve Kilbey's recently released "Acoustic & Intimate" video, which can be order from the Karmic Hit website.

Blurred Crusade back up again

While this site was never technically down, the server was experiencing technical problems so I was unable to update my site for a while. As of now that has changed and I have added some new sections to my site and have made some long-needed updates.
